Castelli Romani – Zingaretti authorizes ASL RM H to hire 8 doctors and a pharmacist

The president of the Lazio Region, Nicola Zingaretti as Commissioner for the Health Re-entry Plan signed today the decree authorizing the Asl Rm H of the Castelli, to the hiring of 8 medical directors and one pharmacist on a permanent basis. The entry into service of the identified professional figures is necessary to overcome the current critical issues in the Company’s staffing derived from the long blockade of turn-over and ensure the delivery of LEAs (essential levels of care). According to the decree, the General Director of the Asl is authorized to hire on a permanent basis two pediatricians, two physicians for the complex operating unit of internal medicine, two surgeons who will take up service at general surgery and two physicians for gynecology and obstetrics. Also authorized is the hiring of a pharmacist manager to strengthen the functionality of territorial pharmaceutical assistance centers.

The adoption of the act is functional to the objectives defined in the technical document on the reorganization of the region’s hospital network.

“These hires are a concrete sign that change in Lazio’s healthcare is now an advanced and I believe irreversible process – explains Lazio Region President Nicola Zingaretti –sonce they are exempt from the turn-over freeze, they are also numerically significant and such that they can guarantee the full functionality of departments and essential services that in recent years were suffering the most, such as pediatrics, surgery, gynecology. The first results of the consolidation of the accounts and the parallel reorganization of the system on the tracks of greater efficiency and drastic reduction of waste, are coming and bring as a dowry the exit from precarious employment for many young professionals.
